Member Guidelines

Mëtälü§ Grävï§ Guidelines v1.0

Mëtälü§ Grävï§ Guidelines serve as a basis of regulating conduct.

Section 1: Admin System

1.1  Clan/Department System

1.1.1 In order to hasten and quickly solve any issues within the clan, we have decided to structure the clan in the following order:

Overseer: Individual responsible for the overall vision and scope of running the clan.

Advisors: Individuals responsible for the running and development of the clan.

Commanders: Responsible for the running of Divisions

Members: General clan population

Overseers have power of authority. They may act as they see fit, however they are subject to review. Advisors also share in this, but their power is limited to their department only. They may NOT make full clan decisions.

All members will refer to the Overseer and or Advisor of their Department should any offences occur. If the problem is necessary to be taken by the Department's Advisor to the Overseer and the rest of the Admin Team, then steps will be taken to achieve whatever result is necessary.

Section 2: Internal Clan Conduct

2.1 Member Interaction - Communication

2.1.1 All members will be expected to have, and maintain an account on ICQ. Members must maintain visibility with all members of the Squad.

2.1.2 Members are expected to continually read and post on the {MG} Forums. The forums are put in place to enhance the communication between all members of the squad and to build unity. However, forums are not put in place for members to "spam" them with useless posts. Continual "spamming" of the forums will result in a members release from the squad. If a member posts explicit messages or messages that could potentially cause trouble, he shall be placed on Probation for two weeks. If multiple offenses occur, or a member breaks this guideline during Probation, proper authority may decide to hold a meeting to discuss further punishment for the member, or the member may be expelled from {MG}.

2.1.3 All members are expected to continually provide in game screenshots (minimum 1 per week). These screenshots are used as proof of activity in the divisions, as well as proof for medals, examples of bad conduct taking place, etc.

2.2 Member Interaction - behavior

2.2.1 Members must treat each other with respect. If a member is caught disrespecting, verbally abusing, or harassing another member without consent, the member shall be placed on Probation for two weeks. If multiple offenses occur, appropriate action shall be taken, and proper authority shall evaluate the member. Extreme cases or evidence of continued behavior during probation may result in the expulsion of the member.

Section 3: External Clan Conduct

3.1 Foreign Clan Member Interactions

3.1.1 Members must respect those of other clans, even if verbally abused. If a member performs violations according to those specified in section 3.1.1, he shall be placed in Detention for a period of two weeks, and Probation for one month. If multiple offenses occur, or a member breaks this guideline during Probation, proper authority may decide to hold a meeting to discuss further punishment for the member, or the member may be expelled from {MG}.

3.1.2 If any member or members are caught trying to start clan wars, or their actions may inflict conflict on a large scale, the member or members shall be expelled from {MG}. We do not tolerate any insubordinate and cowardice action from any of our members.

3.2 Multi-player Integrity

3.2.1 No cheating of any kind is allowed. If a member is caught cheating (this includes, but is not limited to, the use of trainers, hacks, or any other program which allows the user to break the normal rules of game play, UNLESS in a mod that supports it), he shall be placed in Probation and proper authority shall convene to discuss appropriate punishment for the offending member.

3.2.2 Losses must be accepted. If a member is caught avoiding loss (this includes, but is not limited to, disconnecting, the use of programs to prevent loss, or other methods of evasion), he shall be placed in Probation and proper authority shall convene to discuss appropriate punishment for the offending member.

Clan Structure

Department Governing & Admin Team

Overseer:
Individual responsible for the overall, daily operations, structuring and running of the clan.

Advisors:
Members who assume the role of clan admins, assisting in the development and functionality of the clan pages and membership. They regulate any essentials that allow the clan to operate normally. Advisors will participate as members or commanders in departments.

Commanders:
The Commanders of a Department plays a very prominant role in the running of his or her respective Department. They are required to keep their finger on the pulse of the game they play, and fill in for the Overseer should that person be unable to complete any necessary task. Commanders develop the strategy of their respective Department and the vision of how they see it to progress. Final aporval is given to the commanders by the Overseer. Commanders are responsible for inviting potential players into their Department, as well as handling disputes within a Department. Since Commanders are the top "officer" of a department, their say on a members status in their Department will not be disputed by the Overseer. Commanders have the authority to designate the Department ranking/structure.

General Community

Members:
The mainstay of {MG}, members are simply required to play their game... alot! There is no limit to the amount of Members allowed in {MG}, but they must remain active in the Department(s) they have chosen to join.

Applicants:
Applicants are required to participate in all clan activities for an induction period of two weeks, in games wearing the clan tag: {MG} before their name. Eg. {MG}KillerMan
When the induction time is over, a final decision on the Applicants status will be made by the Overseer and Commander of that Department. They will then be accepted in as a full member, or not.
