Super Powio - January 3, 2006 5:32 pm So yes, yet another update. I made a minor but important addition to the list of registered objects. For those who don't know what the Buzzbum mod is, it's a replacement for RegisterObjects.cs that adds several hidden objects to Starsiege's Mission Editor. Anyways, I added the ability to create volume objects. Adding a volume to your map (.vol) will cause clients to automatically load the volume and take advantage of any custom shapes, textures, sounds, or whatever it might contain. Of course, the client still has to have the same volume to load it, but it does eliminate the the need to newObject() it through autoexec.cs. I've uploaded it here for now. I only wish that the downloads section was working a bit better so I could put it up there. I'm thinking about making a custom shape map right now, so when it's finished anyone who wants to play on it need only download the volume.
