Note: You will need the get the version 1.000 to version 1.004 patch to join games. You can download it here (1.4 MB)
It is also a good idea to keep you version 1.000 installed so you can still host games. If you already used the patch, just reinstall vs 1.000 from your Buddy CD.
You also need to keep version 1.000 to use hacks. Version 1.004 doesn't accept hacks.

Map Maker 1.0 12/4/99 - Khronos

Our friend in development and hackers, Aeolis, has been working on a new project. He is developing a training couse map to test out for new pilots in the acadamy. It is not complete yet, so if you join now you get to skip the training course and go right to the exam. We have been working on a set of skins and quickchat messages to be used within the squad pilots. The squad development is comming along well. See ya'll later now.

Welcome to The Lost Souls

The Lost Souls is a well designed and developed Starsiege squad. Novice players must go though trianing to enter. Ranks will be according to skill and command ability. All Lost Souls pilots should put their rank and squad in their name while playing in Starsiege multi-player games. Naming goes as follows:

~{LS}~|Rank|-Name

These are the ranks:
GEN - General - Only supreme pilots.
COL - Colonel - Gold Class Pilots.
CAP - Captain - Silver Class Pilots.
SER - Sergeant - Bronze Class Pilots.
LT1 - Lieutenant 1st Class - Advanced Pilots.
LT2 - Lieutenant 2nd Class - Skilled Pilots.
LT3 - Lieutenant 3rd Class - Good Pilots.
GRD - Guard - Strong Pilots.
FTS - Foot Soldier - Average Pilots
NBP - Newboot Pilot - Just Graduated

Points are earned on Exams and Skill Tests. Some questions are worth more than others. You can check you soul point level on the member list page. You may also earn points for submitting maps and mods to the Lost Souls. Click here for more info on maps and mods.
